Care guide for cut flowers

1. CHOOSE THE RIGHT VASE
Always use a clean vase and fill it with fresh water. Avoid dirty containers, as bacteria can shorten the flowers’ lifespan.

2. CONDITION THE FLOWERS
Always remove leaves below the waterline and give the flowers a fresh cut using a sharp knife or secateurs. The flowers should be placed in water right away! Leaves in the water cause bacteria that make flowers wilt faster. Keep the stems clean and the water clear.

3. REARRANGE OR PLACE AS IS
We always arrange our bouquets in a spiral, ready for you to just put in a beautiful vase of your choice. Although, we do encourage you to take a mindful moment to be creative and rearrange the flowers. Pay attention to each stem and the height and width of the vase and place the flowers to your liking.

If you want to get extra creative and have more control over the arrangement, you can use a flower frog or chicken wire in the vase for extra stability.

4. REFRESH EVERY OTHER DAY
Change the water every other day and recut the stems slightly each time. Keep the flowers away from direct sunlight, radiators, and ripening fruit.

6. ENJOY THEIR NATURAL RYTHM
Each stem has its own lifespan. Some may fade sooner – remove them and let the rest continue to evolve. By the end of the bouquets lifespan you can also place the flowers in a couple of small vases to be put in your bathroom or on your bedside table for example.

(Please keep in mind that some flowers are poisonous if ingested and should be placed at a safe distance from small children and animals.)
